EPUR retains its Michelin star and consolidates its place among Portugal’s leading restaurants
EPUR has once again been awarded a Michelin Star at the Michelin Guide Portugal 2026 Gala, reaffirming its place among the leading restaurants in Portuguese gastronomy. The award recognises the consistency, identity and precision of the culinary concept led by Chef Vincent Farges, and confirms the restaurant’s standing within Portugal’s fine dining scene.
The annual Michelin Guide ceremony, one of the highlights of the restaurant and hospitality calendar, once again brought together chefs, culinary projects and key figures from the sector, celebrating the excellence, evolution and vitality of Portuguese cuisine. In this context, EPUR’s retention of its Michelin star underscores the strength of a journey built on rigour, consistency and ambition.
First awarded in 2020, EPUR has now held its Michelin star for seven consecutive years, carving out its own path in the world of haute cuisine, based on signature dishes, refined technique and an experience crafted down to the last detail.
“More than just a celebration, this recognition prompts us to reflect on the journey we have undertaken. Retaining the star means continuing to meet, every single day, the high standards that this accolade represents. It is an important sign for the team and a source of motivation for us to keep improving,” emphasises Chef Vincent Farges.
