Founded in 1989, Casa do Marquês is proud to be at the forefront of the catering and events sector in Portugal. With 34 years of success, Casa do Marquês reflects a service of excellence grounded in quality, innovation, and the dedication of our entire team. With a family-oriented approach, the administration is led by José Eduardo Sampaio, Florbela Bem, Miguel Seijo y Seijo, and Gonçalo Seijo y Seijo. The company offers a comprehensive service in the event sector, from exclusive catering production to the delivery of turnkey events, taking responsibility for all necessary organization, production, logistics, decoration, and entertainment. The constant demand for excellence has earned it, over the years, the trust of an extensive list of clients, ranging from family celebrations to state dinners (Casa do Marquês is one of the preferred kitchens for State Protocol).

Located in Prior Velho, with a total covered area of about 6000sqm, the largest industrial kitchen in the sector in Portugal with about 1400sqm, capable of producing over 3,000 meals per day, and a multifaceted team with the necessary experience and dynamism, allows it to meet all kinds of requests, always with the best service. The Team

Casa do Marquês has a permanent team of over 70 people (increasing to over 700 additional staff beyond the full-time employees), with the capacity to respond to the most diverse and demanding requests.
The dynamic and proactive spirit of its employees forms the basis of a rigorous and comprehensive approach, capable of handling all tasks inherent to the organization of its events..

Casa do Marquês is proud to have a predominantly horizontal structure, with a multidisciplinary team motivated by the success of all parties involved, across the entire spectrum—from colleagues to the company, from the event to the client.

Environmental Responsibility

Considering the environmental impact of the company's actions, we have implemented several measures to minimize our ecological footprint.
We started by centralizing operations in a single building, reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
We also installed solar panels for more sustainable, efficient, and self-sufficient energy consumption with an investment of €250,000 and an annual reduction of 51% in non-renewable energy, as well as upgrading the vehicle fleet to electric vehicles with zero CO2 emissions (currently 60% of the fleet).
These actions were taken alongside recycling measures and policies to reduce plastic and waste, such as using increasingly recyclable, reusable, and environmentally friendly decoration materials.

Social Responsibility

Casa do Marquês also maintains several partnerships with Social Solidarity Institutions, which collect meals in excellent consumption conditions for distribution to the most needy.
In 2019, we donated around 60.000 meals at a cost price exceeding €500,000, with the future goal of continuing these donations while reducing food waste.
This measure is implemented with the utmost sense of responsibility, providing the person in charge of collection with relevant information on the proper cooling and regeneration of the supplied food.
