In 2012, Amélie and Wolfgang Zichy arrived in Lisbon and discovered a unique courtyard, located next to the iconic National Pantheon. This courtyard, steeped in history, lost treasures and secrets, is home to several impressive buildings – among them, an old distillery that immediately captured the couple’s imagination. Enchanted by the magical and mysterious energy of the place, Amélie and Wolfgang decided to breathe new life into this abandoned space, imbuing it with soul and personality. Thus, La Distellerie was born, a space that celebrates the essence of Lisbon, ideal for social and corporate events or weddings.
La Distellerie includes a courtyard, carefully restored with the utmost respect for the building’s history, preserving its original textures and narrative. With several indoor and outdoor areas, La Distellerie Lisbon adapts with versatility to different types of events – whether corporate, cultural or private – and transforms each celebration into a truly unforgettable experience.
