Casa do Marquês was created in 1989 and is proud to be at the forefront of the catering and events industry in Portugal. The more than 30 years of success is reflective of its service excellence which is based on quality, innovation and the dedication of the entire team.
The company has a family management structure and is run José Eduardo Sampaio, Florbela Bem, Miguel Seijo y Seijo and Gonçalo Seijo y Seijo. The group offers full service event solutions, from the exclusive catering production to complete turnkey events where it manages the entire project, production, logistics, decoration and entertainment.
Casa do Marquês is constantly challenging itself and this standard of excellence has resulted in an extensive Client list that entrusts it with their events, from family celebrations to State functions (Casa do Marquês is one of the chosen State Protocol caterer).
With a 6.000sqm headquarters in Prior Velho, having the largest industrial kitchen of the sector in Portugal with more than 1.400sqm, and a capacity to produce more than 3.000 meals a day, as well as a dynamic and experienced multifaceted team makes it possible to satisfy all types of requests, with the highest quality service.

Casa do Marquês’ team is comprised of more than 70 people full time staff, which extends to more than 700 freelancers and is capable of responding to the most demanding and diverse requests.
The dynamic and proactive spirit of its staff, who are capable of assuring all tasks inherent to the organisation of its events, is the basis for the successful implementation of the rigorous and wide-ranging tasks that Casa do Marquês undertakes.

Casa do Marquês is proud to have a predominantly horizontal structure, with a multifaceted team that is motivated by the success of all those involved and along the entire process – from their colleagues to the company, from the event to the Client.
Various measures where implemented to minimise the ecological footprint of the company, taking into account the environmental impact of its activities. These include the centralisation of all its operations in one location, in Prior Velho near the airport, resulting in a reduction of the consumption of fuel and CO2 emissions, and, wherever possible, ensuring the collective transportation of its staff.
Furthermore, Casa do Marquês has agreements with several charities and social solidarity organisations that collect food in excellent conditions to be distributed to those who most need it. This initiative is implemented with the utmost sense of responsibility, providing the person collecting with all relevant information regarding the correct cooling and reheating of the food.
